I don't mind to tell you about waht I've known. I did some research for the bridal salon already. You just take the pre-wedding pix? or the whole package (including BD)? Also, you need to think about the location you wanna pick. The cheapest one in Chinatown should be "Just pretty" or some bridal salon in east broadway. (However, I don't think East Broadway bridal salon will fit us) Because they will give a big discount for "fook chow" people. Also, one of my friends said the clothes are no good. Just Pretty has cheap package. My friend join the cheapest package for US$ 2,699. The package includes indoor (1 wg, 1 EG, and 1 chinese gown) and outdoor (1 wg), 3 small albums for about 40pictures in total, BD videography and photography ( can't remember how many pictures), 1 big photo include frame. However, the disadvantage is too many people, and the place is too small. I saw 3 brides in this small area for make up in the BD. Also they don't let you to pick the time for make up in BD. One of my friend said the service is so so. She told me she made the appointment for choosing gowns for the BD. When she got in the store, they didn't let her to choose becasue they are busy. They asked my friend to come back later. When my friend come back after 1 hour, they said my friend is late, and didn't let her to choose and asked her to make another appointment in another day. Do you want to know more? Which wedding studio? I think this msg is too long.

YOu mean light make up that they did for the bride? It doesn't make sense, because bride needs heavy make up for the pictures.
The ridiculous things is my friend took the indoor in March, and she wanna take a look for the pictures. Manahttan bridal doesn't allow her to take a look. The reason is they will let her see when she finish all the indoor and outdoor. Does it make sense?

You still have time. For my opinion, you should go to HK/ Taiwan for pre-wedding pictures. Then need BD service here.
However, one of my friend ( who lives in HK) told me that HK has too standard pre-wedding pictures. Everyone has the same poses, no surprise. Also, you should comapare the prices. Even though HK prewedding pictures package may be cheaper, but don't forget the airfare and your time. I think about to take pictures in HK too. Finally, we decide to take here because we don't have enough time to prepare.
