Well, i think i am proud of him because he's the first black to be elected as president and obviously his speech is much better than McCain. Of course most of the Americans they didn't want to vote for Obama because of his color. But then, since the competitor is too weak, there's no way Obama not gonna win... I am happy for him!
I voted last night and i voted for Obama. I am not supporting black community but i think he does a better job than McCain. He's not as cunning as McCain and i believe he can fight for more right for Americans.
Anyway, let's hope for the best!

McCain is just being realistic and practical. Sometimes , in order to win a race, he has to rely on old tactics. Many Whites and conservative minorities, especially the Latinos, feel comfortable with Obama and the economy is important to all, that's why they gave him a chance. Most of McCain's supporters are seniors and he didn't get many votes from younger voters. He also didn't convince the Americans that he was different from Bush. Republicans won last time because the Democrats untimely brought up the topic of gay marriage which is not supported by many conservatives and moderates, even the minorities voted for George Bush in 2004. There is no Republicans who could win the White House this time round because of George. Bush's policy also helps to diminish Republicans' power in both the Senate and Congress.

Yes, Democrats supported gay marriage and that's why past 8 years they didn't win the presidency. Well, i just hope for the best that Obama will give us a better life to live.

I also voted for him at the last minute. I voted for him just because I didn't like Palin. She needs to go back to grade school to learn social science; you know, she thought Africa was a country! Besides, she didn't show her confidence (if she had any) during any TV interviews.
