French dinner
Last night i went to a French restaurant with my sister and my bf. At first i was excited because it seems a nice restaurant . I made the reservation @ 8pm and i had to wait for a little bit which i had no problem with. Anyway, we were seated and our waiter asked us what we wanted and we ordered whatever food... The environment was so noisy that i was hardly talk to them. I would expect a French restaurant would be more romantic than this one. It was like a bar or a chinese restaurant... Anyway, the appetizer came and it was alright and then we waited and waited and waited...finally the entrees came but it was like 30 mins later..OMG! it took so long and i had bad stomach ache on waiting for the food....sucks! We weren't happy since then and when we asked for the check, it took the waiter for so long and we were showing an annoying face then the manager approached us and asked if we needed something. Then i told him that we asked for check like 10 mins ago and we were still waiting.... and the manager spoke to the waiter and waiter came back to us and said..."oh...didn't i give the check to the gentleman??" and i was like..."NO!!!!" and he grabbed the check from his pocket.. I was so pissed from then coz if he just apologized, maybe i was alright, but he was pushing the responsibility to my bf...then it wasn't right!!!! Anyway, finally we got the check and i was about to pay and the manager said since we had all the troubles, we would give u a 50% discount... at first i thought i heard it wrong..maybe 15% not 50%...but when the 2nd check came, i saw 50% discount on the entire bill...i was like, whoa! Amazing! Well, the manager kept apologizing and explaining the kitchen lost the ticket so that caused all the troubles... and i was complaning about the waiter and service... i wasn't pleased with his service and i would expect to be served well if i pay that much of $$... Anyway, i told the manager that i wouldn't mind paying more to have a good meal with my friends and families but it was ruining my entire night... i know he couldn't do anything and he got us a discount but i felt better that i complained to him how i felt..and they should know how to train a waiter how to serve customers! Piss!

Happy Lunar new year!
I know it's kind of late but i still wish everyone a happy lunar new year!! This year is the year of ox and i check the chinese astrology and they said i have a pretty good year! i really hope so and i'll try my best to be good this year too, hehe!
My sister came last Saturday so i was spending time with her mostly. I didn't do much with her because i have to work everyday (except wkend) but we had a good time together, hehe! Today we're going to a japanese restaurant for lunch and we're going to a French restaurant for dinner, hhaa! i hope it's a nice one! ^_^
She's going back tomorrow...so fast but hope she has a safe flight tomorrow.
My honey and I are going to ski this wkend. how wonderful!! I must take a lot of pic, hehhee!! I love skiiing but i can only do it once a year! Anyway, hope we have a good time too!!!!!

Love relationship
Over the weekend our friends had a group conversation about love, that made me wonder a lot of things..... but that doesn't make me doubt the love between me and him.
Well, the conversation was kind of blue because a friend of us were getting married with his gf but then due to some reasons, they had a huge fight and now the wedding had to be postponed. I don't know if the cold relationship will stay for a week or so but that kind of news was disturbing. I love them both, and suddenly they don't want to get married. How dramatic!!
And the other couple we know..the girl had a commitment issue because of her past, and their goals seem to be different. I was so worried because i dunno if they meant to be with each other, but after 30 years of looking for another half and now they're together and suddenly because of some unpredictable reasons and the girl has a doubt on the relationship!!! Sigh...this conversation sounded sad.... we didnt leave our friend's apartment until the other day....thank god i didn't have to work the other day, hahaha!
I believe in Love and i believe my current bf is my love one! God bounds us together and no matter what we encountered in the past and what we're going to experience in the future, we will fight for it!

It's my turn now, hahaha!!!!
1. I don't get used to this
cold weather.... The coldest ever since i first came here! yuck~ This
weather make me sick!! >_<
2. My favorite food is seafood, which i don't usually cook at home. My favorite seafood is clams...yummy!!!
3. My regular routine everyday is -- eat, work, sleep, cook....etc. What else can I do?
4. I am not a fans of US tv series. I watch TVB series most of the time
but I usually don't like the story but they are for me to kill time
when i am bored at home.
5. I love travelling. Many places I want to visit and i haven't had a
chance, such as Hawaii, Maldives, Bahamas, yellowstone national park,
Grand Canyon, Alaska, Disneyworld, Miami...
6. This year's goal is to save money! haha~ I am not very ambitious, am I?
7. I have a BF who's been with me for more than 6 years. For me it's
between hate and love. I hate him when i ask him to do something and he
refuses to do it immediately and i love him when he shows his care and
concern on me... Love is contradicted, isn't it?
8. Going back to HK as a trip is always fun, but it wasn't fun going
back myself and sitting on a plane for 16 hours. That feeling was
horrible, especially i should have an exit seat but they mistakenly
told me there was a plug i could use for my laptop so i changed my seat
and ended up i had none!!! Pissssss..
9. I hate myself not being so decisive. I can't make decision easily,
even in a restaurant. I am glad my bf always chooses the dishes, haha!
10. I am tired everyday to think what to cook for dinner. I tried
looking up online but it's not like he eats everything. I love cooking
but i just am lack of ideas on what to cook....Ummm...
11. I hate January to April....why? Because i have to work on weekends.... >_<
12. Living in Staten Island is quiet, but people always say it's far
from the city. Well, ignore the fact that you have to pay toll, it
takes you 20-30 minutes to get to the city... I don't think it's that
far.... I love it because it's so quiet and you don't feel like you're
living in nyc!!
13. My first time to see Jay Chou's concert was December and I am in
love with him. I think he's talented and I love him playing piano! I
always admire guys who can play piano...^^
14. I am an easy going person. A little thing can make me very happy. I
guess i should say i am innocent like a little girl...that's what my bf
said :P
15. I was having fun in my friend's house playing Taboo!!! It was a fun
game and at the same time you need to utilize your brain... Let's play
again!
16. I have a dream --- to open my own Cafe! and the name is called Rainbow Cafe!!! When is my dream gonna come true?
17. When I get pissed, I think i am really pissed...but after few
minutes and i'll be calm and forgot why i was pissed.... I fight with
my BF sometimes but during the fight, i forgot why we started the
fight... O_o duh.....
18. I love my family, even though I don't live with them. I am proud of
my mom because she knows how to use msn and email....^_^
19. I love shopping, but not in nyc. It's so boring to shop in nyc. I
love the small shopping mall in HK and i enjoyed shopping with my
sister. She gave me advice on clothing and showed me where to buy cheap
clothes....YEAH!!!

Plane crashes in NYC river after bird cuts engines
This was a scary news when my friend told me so!!!!
But now we have some good news that there was no casaulty on the plane, which it doesn't happen often but I am glad it's no injury!
This must be tough for them because of this weather but thank you for all the rescuers!! you did good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

half of January
January has passed almost half of it.. Time really passes so quick! Nothing really special during these days..work, eat, sleep....etcetc... What else can it be? Sometimes it's good to have a normal life, but of course we all need excitement once a while, hehe!
My honey and I are doing fine, though we sometimes fight for nothing. Well, I guess that's the way it should be when two people are together. We're not identical, so we can't have the same opinions/thoughts on everything. It would be bored too if you have someone identical and you're like dating yourself...haha!
Chinese new year is coming soon, and I am going to see a basketball game that i got as a Christmas gift. I am going to see Yao Ming (Houston) VS NY Knicks. Well, I am not a big fans of basketball but my honey is a fans of Yao Ming. How wonderful, hehe!~~~ I hope we both enjoy the game on Chinese new year.
Year of ox is coming!!!!

同佢一齊咁耐唔係唔知佢煩, 點知而家真係好煩!!! 今晚煮野, 諗住煮完可以開開心心休息下, 點知佢0既一頭冷水真係令我心淡&失望, well, 可能今晚煮d野佢唔岩食(有豆豉)咁佢就開始彈3彈4, 仲衰到講句, 你識左我咁耐無理由唔知我唔好豆豉..我真係...WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 你唔中意食我就唔煮?? first work day in 2009
How do i feel? of course sucks!!!!!!
I miss my holiday but it's over...time always passes so quick when i am not even ready. Anyway, i hope my holiday will be here again soon, hehehe!
We didn't do much over this holiday. On new year eve, we went to my friend's house first for dinner and we went out to the city for countdown @ a private party. It was cool...hehe! I was happy because my honey was with me to countdown and i hope i will countdown with him every single year in the future.
After partying too much, my body was sore and i had no more energy to have fun anymore. I think i should rest at home for all coming weekends. My biological block is damaged...i need to fix it...haha!!
Hope everything goes well this new year....May all our wishes come true!
