French dinner

Last night i went to a French restaurant with my sister and my bf.  At first i was excited because it seems a nice restaurant . I made the reservation @ 8pm and i had to wait for a little bit which i had no problem with.  Anyway, we were seated and our waiter asked us what we wanted and we ordered whatever food... The environment was so noisy that i was hardly talk to them. I would expect a French restaurant would be more romantic than this one.  It was like a bar or a chinese restaurant... Anyway, the appetizer came and it was alright and then we waited and waited and waited...finally the entrees came but it was like 30 mins later..OMG! it took so long and i had bad stomach ache on waiting for the food....sucks! We weren't happy since then and when we asked for the check, it took the waiter for so long and we were showing an annoying face then the manager approached us and asked if we needed something.  Then i told him that we asked for check like 10 mins ago and we were still waiting.... and the manager spoke to the waiter and waiter came back to us and said..."oh...didn't i give the check to the gentleman??" and i was like..."NO!!!!" and he grabbed the check from his pocket.. I was so pissed from then coz if he just apologized, maybe i was alright, but he was pushing the responsibility to my bf...then it wasn't right!!!! Anyway, finally we got the check and i was about to pay and the manager said since we had all the troubles, we would give u a 50% discount... at first i thought i heard it wrong..maybe 15% not 50%...but when the 2nd check came, i saw 50% discount on the entire bill...i was like, whoa! Amazing! Well, the manager kept apologizing and explaining the kitchen lost the ticket so that caused all the troubles... and i was complaning about the waiter and service... i wasn't pleased with his service and i would expect to be served well if i pay that much of $$... Anyway, i told the manager that i wouldn't mind paying more to have a good meal with my friends and families but it was ruining my entire night... i know he couldn't do anything and he got us a discount but i felt better that i complained to him how i felt..and they should know how to train a waiter how to serve customers! Piss!

I will never go there again despite of the discount.
