Anyway, basically she made 3 dishes. 1) Broccoli with chicken 2) beef with carrot and 3) scrambled egg. Well, it sounds absolutely fine..just like a normal dish but when i tasted and looked at it....ummm!~
Firstly, she soaked the broccoli in the water for so long, and it became so soft and she boiled the chicken then it was tasteless. Secondly, the beef tasted alright but it looked so scary..it looked burnt and dark..sigh..Thirdly, it surprised me because i was waiting for her to make a very normal dish i.e. scrambled egg and when i tasted it, i was like

Now I'm trying to cook at home, something may cooked quite well, unavoidable to get the bad taste aslo, it was depend on the instruction from recipe's book.

I recommend "Stew Chicken with Young Ginger" to you, I have tried this yesterday, taste ok & easy cook.
ReplyDelete1) Ingredients : Chicken - 1/2, Young Ginger - 600g, Minced Garlic - 1 tbsp, Minced Shallot - 1 tbsp, Soy Bean Paste - 1 thsp, Thick Soy Sauce - 1 tbsp, Water - some.
2) Seasonings : Salt - some, Sugar - some
3) Method :
a) Rinse chicken and cut into piece. Cut young ginger into slices after rinsed.
b) Heat the wok with some oil and then stir-fry minced garlic, shallot and ginger slices until fragrant. Add in soy bean paste and fry until fragrant, then add in chicken meat and stir-fry mix well. Pour in some water (which covered the chicken meat) and stew cook over medium heat for 1/2 till 1 hour.
c) Add in thick soy sauce and seasonings, then mix well before dish out and serve.
As you know ginger stimulates the peristalsis and absorption of stomach and intestine, especially the absorption by the lacteal vessels. Thus, it is effective in aiding digestion.
